MEETUP AND CELEBRATION FOR CURRENT AND PROSPECTIVE PROSPECT FARMERS

Prospect Farm Annual Meetup
Sunday, February 3rd, 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Happy Third Anniversary to Prospect Farm! The anniversary will be celebrated by presenting Nancy Romer, local food activist and General Coordinator of the Brooklyn Food Coalition, as the keynote speaker at their annual meetup and celebration.

Jan Poppiendieck, author of Free For All--a book about school food--will also speak and so will Jack O'Connell, one of the organizers of the Windsor Terrace/Kensington Food Co-op that's currently in the planning stages.

The farm's community partners--Brancaccio's Food Shop, Brooklyn Commune, and Le Paddock--and some Prospect Farm participants will provide refreshments.

Prospect Farm will also offer the opportunity to view a worm compost demonstration bin.

The first membership drive of the new year will take place there for those who are interested in joining.
