Don't forget to stop by tomorrow's launch of Uncover Church Avenue, the Church Avenue BID's public art contest! There will be great music provided by NYCTrust, delicious food donated by local Church Ave businesses, the opportunity to design your own personal mural, and information on how you can be a part of this exciting new program. Where: Bonnie Youth Club (1221 Church Ave., off Westminster Road)
Through Uncover Church Avenue, local artists are invited to submit designs and community members and the program's Design Advisory Committee will choose the winning art works. The winning artists will then install murals of their designs on select solid roll down gates and building fronts along Church Avenue between Argyle Road and Coney Island Ave. with the hope of attracting new business to the area.
