Kid's Cooking Class
Saturday, July
13th, 4:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Children ages 8 through 13 will be taught at Brooklyn Commune how to make wholesome snacks and meals from scratch. Foods prepared in previous Kid's Cooking Class included macaroni and cheese, quesadillas, and custard. They turned the custard into creme brulee, ice cream, and creme anglaise.
The fee is $30 per child. Register quickly because space is limited.
The proceeds from the class will support the donation of a home-cooked meal for the clients of the Park Slope Women's Shelter.
