The brain injury sustained by a pedestrian who was struck by a bicyclist in Prospect Park almost two weeks ago led to a major discussion of safety on the KWT Neighbors listserv, and that led to the creation of a petition to the Prospect Park Alliance concerning measures that could be taken to make the park safer for pedestrians, walkers, runners, bladers, and cyclists--specifically, with signage and markings.
