Outdoor Curry Festival and Cooking Demonstration
Saturday, July 23rd, 3:00 p.m. to about 6:00 p.m.

Join the Outdoor Curry Festival, where Mukti Banerjee of Mukti's Kitchen will demonstrate how to cook meat, fish, and vegetable dishes. Watch her make curry paste from scratch and then prepare the dishes. (In her cooking classes, students get to do the cooking too.)

Mukti doesn't use anything frozen or artificial in her cooking.

  • Shrimp Malai (shrimp in coconut milk, with onion, ginger, garlic, and other aromatic spices)
  • Pulao (rice with carrots, peas, cashews, raisins, and aromatic spices)
  • Palak Paneer (spinach in Indian cheese)
  • Mango Lassi
Learn tips and tricks about the spices being used.
