FOOD, LIVE MUSIC, RIDES, AND ACTIVITIES: THE 2026 CHURCH AVENUE STREET FAIR AND CRAFT FAIR

 

Church Avenue Street Fair and Craft Fair
Sunday, May 3rd
noon to 6:00 p.m.
 
Join us on Sunday, May 3rd, from 12pm-6pm for the 2026 Church Avenue Street Fair and Craft Fair (spaces for vendors and crafters available)!

The fair will stretch from Coney Island Ave. to Argyle Rd., with plenty of food, live music, rides, and activities for the whole family! ðŸŽ‰ 
 
Look out for a special crafts fair hosted by The Craft Salon and performances from Alden MOVES Dance Theater, Prospect Gymnastics, Cynthia King Dance Studio, and Da Fuzz Katz. 

This event is sponsored by the 70th Precinct, MetroPlusHealth, and Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield.

MERCADO: MAKER'S MARKET, BOOK FAIR, AND COMMUNITY GATHERING

From One World Project:
Join us for One World Project’s Annual Mercado on Saturday, November 15, from 11am–3pm! 
 
The OWP Mercado is a joyful celebration of art, creativity, and connection--a maker’s market, book fair, and community gathering all in one.
 
Come support the artists and makers in our community and help sustain One World Project by getting tickets for activities or food!
  
Wristbands give full access to all activities for one child, including
  • Face Painting: Get your face painted! / ¡Píntate la cara!
  • Hair braiding: Get your hair braided by our wonderful teachers! Haste trenzas con nuestras maravillosas maestra!
  • Friendship Bracelets: Create bracelets to share with friends / Crear pulseras personalizadas para compartir con amigos.
  • Tin Decorations: Decorate tin boxes for cookies that have been donated by Kate Branom (Cillian’s mom)! Gracias Kate! / ¡Decora cajas de galletas que han sido donadas por Kate Branom (la mamá de Cillian)!
  • Photobooth: Come take photos with fun props! / ¡Ven a tomarte fotos con accesorios divertidos!
  • Weaving craft: Make weaving craft inspired by traditional Mexican artisans. / Crear una manualidad de tejido inspirada en los artesanos tradicionales Mexicanos!
  • Bird Feeders: Make and decorate bird feeders to take home! / ¡Crear y decora comederos para pájaros para llevar a casa! 
     
Note: Wristbands do not include food or drinks and includes access to each activity only once. Buy your wristband for $40. 
Prefer just a few activities? You can also buy individual tickets (available online or at the event). $1 per ticket--perfect if you’d like to participate in just a few specific activities or donate to support OWP.
 
Food & drinks will be purchased with tickets only.

SPRING MARKET AT THE CRAFT SALON

Handmade ceramics, crafts, a flea market, and vintage goods will be featured at The Craft Salon on Sunday, May 4th, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
 
The Craft Salon is a multi-disciplinary arts and crafts studio that offers classes for children and adults of all ages. 

A neighborhood favorite, The Craft Salon is owned and operated by community-minded creative artist Dari Litchman.

CAR SHOW, CRAFT SALE, AND FALL FESTIVAL

 Car Show,  Craft Fair, and Fall Festival
Saturday, October 19th
8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
 
Brooklyn Dreams Charter School will host a Car Show and Craft Sale on Saturday, October 19th. The event starts at 8:00 a.m. with a car show. The gates open at 7:30 a.m. for participants; spectators can enter at 9:00 a.m.
 
The Craft Sale and Fall Festival follows the Car Show and is organized by the Brooklyn Dreams Charter School Home Ec. Club. It runs from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
 
The admission fee is $20 for a family, $10 for an adult, and $5 for a child.
 
Space is limited, so preregistration is recommended.

The Craft Salon's students and teachers and local artists will sell their wares, including handmade art, bags, wreaths, ornaments, prints, pins, stickers, jewelry, bows, ceramics, handbags, totes, and DIY holiday craft boxes.
 
Peruvian hot chocolate, cider, and treats will be served.

CRAFT FAIR AND FLEA MARKET PLANNED


Spring Craft Fair and Flea Market
Sunday, May 5th, 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Support local artists, craftspeople, and rummage sellers by shopping at Flatbush Jewish Center’s Spring Craft Fair and Flea Market. The event will take place on Sunday, May 5th, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.


Shop for handmade jewelry, pottery, soaps, lotions, candles, and more from local craftspeople as well as gently-used clothing, shoes, appliances, artwork, and more.

The Center is looking for craftspeople and rummage sellers to sell their wares at the combination craft fair and flea market. A 10x10 vendor table costs $50, an 8x8 costs $40, and each chair costs $1.


The rummage sale will take place in the Center's large outdoor space and the craft fair will be inside. But if there's rain that day, the vendors will be on both the ground floor and the 2nd floor.

INDOOR CRAFT FAIR ON CHURCH AVENUE


Craft Fair
Sunday, October 21st, 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
 
Crafters will be selling new items, many handmade by local artists, at a Craft Fair at Flatbush Jewish Center on Sunday, October 21st, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

At the indoor event, a variety of interesting items will be available, including
  • jewelry,
  • paintings,
  • wearable art,
  • scarves,
  • crocheted apparel for people and pets,
  • quilts,
  • tablecloths,
  • bow ties,
  • baby clothes,
  • vintage comic books,
  • Judaica,
  • painted shells,
  • henna tattoos, and
  • handmade soaps.

VENDORS WANTED FOR CRAFT FAIR AND FLEA MARKET



Craft Fair and Flea Market
Sunday, October 21st, 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
 
A Craft Fair and Flea Market featuring local artists, craftspeople, collectors, and others with new or used items to sell will take place at Flatbush Jewish Center on Sunday, October 21st, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Set-up time will be from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.

Fees for vendor space:

  • A 10' x 10' space with one 6' rectangle table and two chairs costs $50.
  • An 8' x 8' space with one large round table and two chairs costs $40.
  • Additional chairs cost $10 each.
