LAST WALK (AND SNIFF) AROUND PROSPECT PARK FOR 2011

Batman
A Sunday Walk (and Sniff) around Prospect Park
Sunday, December 4th, 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

To all dogs adopted from shelters and rescues:

It's time for Adopted Dogs of NYC's final Walk and Sniff until spring. You and your adoptive parents are invited to go for a walk in Prospect Park next Sunday with other dogs and parents. Enjoy a casual leashed stroll in the park and socialize in a controlled environment while your parents exchange stories and advice about you and everyone gets exercise.

You don't need to own a dog to participate.

Meet group organizer Kate Tully and Batman by the horse statue at 9th Street and Prospect Park West. Batman (pictured above) is a black chihuahua who wears a red collar.

A SATURDAY WALK (AND SNIFF) AROUND PROSPECT PARK

A Saturday Walk (and Sniff) around Prospect Park
Saturday, October 29th, 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

From Kate Tully, organizer of Adopted Dogs of NYC:
Let's cross our fingers for good weather and try to squeeze in another walk before the temperatures drop! This walk will be on Saturday because on Sunday there's a Halloween event at Sean Casey Animal Rescue. (Give a holler if you're interested in going to that event.)
This casual leashed walk around the park will provide an opportunity for our dogs to socialize in a controlled environment, while we share stories, tips, and a few laughs about our pets. You don't need to own a rescue, or any dog at all, to participate.

I hope you can make it!

Batman and I will be waiting by the horse statue at 9th St and Prospect Park W. Look for the grouchy black chihuahua with a red collar,

RESCUED DOGS MEET-UP IN PROSPECT PARK

A Walk (and Sniff) around Prospect Park
Sunday, March 20th, 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Adopted dogs and their adoptive "parents" are invited to take a walk, sniff, exchange stories and advice, and get some exercise together in Prospect Park.

The newly-formed Adopted Dogs of NYC is open to dogs adopted from shelters and rescues. Group organizer Kate Tully, who adopted a dog from Sean Casey Animal Rescue in Windsor Terrace, says "Since many people are kind enough to adopt dogs with behavioral issues, this isn't exactly a playgroup, but rather a relaxed leashed walk in the park."

Kate and her dog are looking forward to meeting you and your dog. Join them at Prospect Park West and 9th Street.
