Mobile Kosher Food Pantry

Free kosher fresh and canned food items will be distributed at Flatbush Jewish Center on Thursday, August 24th, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. through Met Council's mobile food pantry.
Metropolitan Council on Jewish Poverty is America’s largest Jewish charity dedicated to serving all needy New Yorkers. Its partner pantries, such as Flatbush Jewish Center, serve food-insufficient clients of any race, faith, ethnicity, sexual identity, or gender.
In 2022, nearly 9.7% of New Yorkers reported that they experienced food insufficiency, defined as "inadequacy in the amount of food intake because of a lack of money or resources to access enough food."
