UKRAINE: HUMANITARIAN AID DRIVE EXTENDED IN KENSINGTON

Update, March 8th: A new Facebook page for Flatbush Jewish Center's Ukraine support work has been set up. Follow it to see the latest updates and requests about the donation drive and humanitarian relief to Ukraine. The URL for "Ukraine Support in Brooklyn - hosted at FJC" is https://www.facebook.com/Brooklyn4Ukraine.

--------------------------------------------------------

The people of Ukraine desperately need donations of the tactical/medical, hospital, and civilian supplies listed above. Flatbush Jewish Center (FJC) is collecting these items on their behalf.

A cargo and freight company that has been transporting goods exclusively to Eastern European countries since 1995 will fly this urgently-needed humanitarian aid to Ukraine. The American branch of the company, MEEST-America, is located in New Jersey; its parent company, Meest Group, is based in Ukraine.

Only the items listed above can be accepted. These priority items are also listed at https://bit.ly/3HUM0kh.

Flatbush Jewish Center will be open for donations from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Monday, March 7th, through Thursday, March 10th.

If you need to drop off items in the late evening or the early morning, you can message Dina Garfinkel at https://www.facebook.com/dina.garfinkel or e-mail her at dinagee@gmail.com.

Please label and sort the items by category as much as you can before you bring them to FJC.
