A cargo and freight company that has been transporting goods exclusively to Eastern European countries since 1995 will be flying
urgently-needed humanitarian aid to Ukraine this Saturday, March 5th. The company, MEEST-America, is located in New Jersey, and its parent company, Meest Group, is based in Ukraine.
Ukrainian relief organizations are requesting emergency donations of the items listed below for the Ukrainian people. They can be either new or used-but-in-good-condition.
- Non-perishable food (big demand)
- Clothes for women, men, and children
- Footwear for women, men, and children
- Thermal underwear
- Hygiene products for women, babies, etc.
- Blankets
- Bedding
- Disposable tableware
- First aid and first aid kits
- Tents, mattresses, and sleeping bags
- Standalone lamps
- Candles
- Containers to hold liquids (canisters for water, fuel, and lubricants that have a capacity of 10 to 20 liters)
- Protective military gear (helmets, bulletproof vests, tactical backpacks, and dry rations).
Bring your donated items to Flatbush Jewish Center, 327 East 5th
Street, on the corner of Church Avenue, in Kensington, Brooklyn, by this
Thursday, March 3rd, at 5:00 p.m.
The building will be open for drop-off
