Kensington Bangla Mela

Bangladesh Institute of
Performing Arts (BIPA) and South Asian Cultural Collective (SACC) have rescheduled the annual street fair, "Kensington Bangla Mela," which had been canceled because of extremely hot weather.
The fair will be held on McDonald Avenue in Kensington,
Brooklyn, between Church Avenue and Avenue C, on Sunday, August 4th, from
10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Admission to the fair is free, and all members of the public are invited to attend.

The mela will showcase Bangladeshi cultural heritage, food, clothing, and children's activities. Performances will include Bangladeshi dance and songs by the members of BIPA and SACC.
