A community barbecue is held annually for all residents of the neighborhood, with Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish as its host. The event features barbecue food, games, inflatable rides, raffles, and a DJ.
This year, the barbecue will take place on Sunday, September 29th, from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Tickets cost $20 per person. After September 24th, no tickets will be sold. Children under the age of three must be accompanied by an adult and will be admitted free.
You can purchase tickets in the rectory during office hours: Monday through Friday, between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. The rectory is located next to the church at 2805 Fort Hamilton Parkway, between E. 4th and E. 5th streets.
