Bangladesh Institute of
Performing Arts (BIPA) and South Asian Cultural Collective (SACC) are
organizing the annual street fair, "Kensington Bangla Mela," in Kensington,
Brooklyn, at Church and McDonald avenues, on Saturday July 20th, from
10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
The fair is free, and it's open to all members of the public.
The mela will showcase Bangladeshi cultural heritage, food, clothing, and children's activities. Performances will include Bangladeshi dance and songs by the members of BIPA and SACC.
