Green Thumb Open Garden Day at Prospect Farm
Saturday, July 14th, 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Prospect Farm will have an "open house" for the public to enjoy a day of free activities. Visit Prospect Farm on Saturday, July 14th, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. for such activities as a demonstration of composting and a scavenger hunt.
Compost can be dropped off at the farm on Saturdays from 11:00 a.m. to noon.
About Prospect Farm
"Since March 2010, Prospect Farm has been a community project development toward producing healthy local food as an alternative to industrial food. Our objective is diversity in food production and membership. We are slowly creating healthy soil through our community composting project and farm without chemical fertilizers, pesticides or herbicides."
