Oaxacan Folk Mirror and Frame Workshop
Sunday, June 18th, noon to 4:00 p.m.
Make your own mirror, like those from Oaxaca, Mexico, at an art workshop on Sunday at Avenue C Plaza. Work with metal and tin to create a mirror and engrave floral patterns, the sun and the moon, or the sacred heart, using wooden tools. Emboss traditional patterns into tin frames and decorate them with vivid colors.
