Adopt-a-Senior Pet Month is almost over. Sean Casey Animal Rescue (SCAR) is offering 50% off the usual adoption fee in its eagerness to find loving homes for its senior dogs and for its longtime residents. "Senior dogs" are 5 or more years old. "Longtime residents" are those who have been living in the shelter for 1 or more years--not because anything is "wrong" with them but because the right match hasn't come along yet.
This adoption event will be held tomorrow (Saturday, November 29th) at Sean Casey's Sunset Park facility from noon to 5:00 p.m.
