Fairway will give Windsor Terrace's senior citizens a free ride to its Red Hook store at least once a week, picking them up at Key Food. The shuttle service will start sometime before Key Food closes this month, the Daily News reports.
Senior citizens are the target group for the shuttle, but people of all ages will be allowed to use the service.
The vice president of Fairway said that "Fairway may add other stops in the neighborhood or additional weekly pickups."
Delivery service is available from Fairway, but it's only free if you spend $200 or more. If you spend less than $200, it costs $5.99.
