FALL FEST AT THE P.S. 130 UPPER SCHOOL (OPEN TO THE PUBLIC)

 

P.S. 130 Fall Fest

Sunday, October 18th

11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. 

 

At the annual P.S. 130 Fall Fest, activities will include pumpkin decorating, arts and crafts, a donut-eating contest, the Fall Fest Quest scavenger hunt, face painting, live music, henna tattoos, gaga ball, inflatables, food, Halloween costume shop, and a Boo!seum for all ages.

 

Fall Fest is open to the public. Admission is free. Since it's a fund raiser, the food and most of the activities will cost from one to seven tickets, with the cost of a ticket being $1.00. Funds raised at Fall Fest will be used for school and classroom enrichment initiatives.

 

Some free activities will be offered, including temporary tattoos and crafts.  

 

Fall Fest will take place on Sunday, October 18th, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

The P.S. 130 PTA will present its annual Fall Fest on Sunday, October 19th, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

 

Fall Fest is a fund raiser. Admission is free, and the food and most of the activities cost from one to seven tickets. The cost of a ticket is $1. The money that's raised will be used for school and classroom enrichment initiatives.

• spooky train station, 
• food, including handmade arepas, cotton candy, and popcorn, 
• live music,

The P.S. 130 PTA will present its annual Fall Fest on Sunday, October 20th, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The fundraiser will be held at the Upper School.

Fall Fest highlights will include 

• bounce houses, 
• face painting, 
• crafts, 
• games, 
• pony rides, 
• live music and performances,
  
• tasty treats.

DJ Eli Paperboy Reed, High and Mighty Brass Band, Ballet Folklorico. and more will be featured.

 

The P.S. 130 PTA uses the funds it raises for school and classroom enrichment initiatives, including recess coaches; grants for teachers to purchase classroom supplies; professional development of teachers and administrators; science curriculum; and STEM initiatives.

 

The funds are also used for musician, artist, and author classroom visits across all grades and an extensive art program, including Art Boxes, supplies, and art materials for every classroom.

 

In addition, the funds are used for a block room, and the integration of an innovative block-based pedagogy; BEAM room, two school libraries; and many community events.
