Fall Fest

11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
The P.S. 130 PTA will present its annual Fall Fest on Sunday, October 20th, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The fundraiser will be held at the Upper School.
Fall Fest highlights will include
- bounce houses,
- face painting,
- crafts,
- games,
- pony rides,
- live music and performances,
- tasty treats.
The
P.S. 130 PTA uses the funds it raises for school and classroom enrichment initiatives, including
recess coaches; grants for teachers to purchase classroom supplies;
professional development of teachers and administrators; science
curriculum; and STEM initiatives.
The funds are also used for musician, artist, and author classroom
visits across all grades and an extensive art program, including Art Boxes,
supplies, and art materials for every classroom.
In addition, the funds are used for a block room, and the
integration of an innovative block-based pedagogy; BEAM room, two school
libraries; and many community events.
