The 16th Brooklyn Street Fair will be held on Saturday, June 6th, from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., on McDonald Avenue between Church Avenue and Avenue C, in Kensington.

 

The street fair is open to the public. Admission is free.

ANNUAL STREET FAIR (BANGLADESHI POTHO MELA) SCHEDULED

Brooklyn Street Fair 2016

Sunday, August 28th, noon to 7:00 p.m.

The Brooklyn Street Fair 2016 will be held on Sunday, August 28th, at Church Avenue at McDonald Avenue. The starting and ending times haven't been publicized yet, but the event usually runs all afternoon into the evening.

The fair is open to the public. Admission is free.

Some highlights of the fair will be the musicians, singers, and dancers, the Bangladeshi food carts, and the vendors selling jewelry, clothing, crafts, music, toys, and more.

This will be Kensington's 11th annual Potho Mela, organized by the Church McDonald Bangladeshi Business Association (CMBBA).

CMBBA formed in 2005 in order to promote and enhance Bangladeshi-owned businesses in the vicinity of Church Avenue and McDonald Avenue.
