PERSONALITY CHANGE FOR CHURCH CAFE WINE BAR

Church Cafe Wine Bar will become Church Bar, with new hours, a tapas menu, Happy Hour, drinks, and fun nights with an open mic, art, music, karaoke, and more. The soft opening is tentatively scheduled for next week. The date will be announced soon.

IRISH MUSIC LIVENS UP CHURCH AVENUE

Four inspired musicians played mostly lively Irish traditional music at Church Cafe Wine Bar the week before last, to the delight of the cafe's customers. They'll follow up that debut on Thursday, March 12th, from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m., and they'll be playing there every other Thursday.

The musicians who played that night are Ann Murphy (back left in photo), on fiddle, Arbo Doughty (back right), on bagpipes, flute, and whistle, Matthew Chachere (front left) on bouzouki and guitar, and Noé Dinnerstein (front right) on sitar, flute, voice, and guitar.

DATE UPDATE FOR KNIT/CROCHET SOCIAL GROUP

The first get-together of the Kensington Brooklyn Knit & Crochet Social Group will be on Tuesday, June 10th, instead of June 3rd. It will still be at Church Cafe Wine Bar from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
