Repurpose your jack-o-lanterns, painted pumpkins, and plain pumpkins by turning them into compost for the East Fourth Street Community Garden.
Bring your Halloween pumpkins to the garden's annual Pumpkin Smash on
Sunday, November 2nd, between 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m.
Pumpkins are 90% water, so they'll help moisten the soil in the garden. But pumpkins with glitter or candles can't be accepted because they can't be
composted.
