GOT LEAVES? DISPOSE OF THEM AT THE EAST FOURTH STREET COMMUNITY GARDEN

"The falling leaves drift by the window, the falling leaves of red and gold." If you rake them up, bag them, and take them over to the East Fourth Street Community Garden, they'll use them for composting food scraps.

Bring the leaves to the garden by Sunday, November 2nd, during the garden's open hours, which are Wednesdays, from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., Saturdays, from9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., and Sundays, 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Garden trimmings, such as roots and branches, can't be accepted, and the bags that you bring the leaves in shouldn't have any litter in them.
