FREE WEEKLY FITNESS PROGRAM AT WINDSOR TERRACE LIBRARY

 
"Fitness with Akwesi"
Fridays, 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.
 
Akwesi Asante leads an hour-long fitness program at the Windsor Terrace Library every Friday from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. The program incorporates chair yoga, standing exercises, and other gentle movement practices.
 
Akwesi Asante has served in the health and wellness community for more than thirty years and has worked with seniors since 1992, teaching them movement and exercise.
 
He has also worked as a professional performance artist as an actor, dancer, acrobat/stuntman, musician, circus arts performer, and martial artist.
 
He has served as a consultant for Catholic Charities, Services for the Aging, and Arthritis Foundation.
