Community
Board 12 will holds its monthly meeting on Tuesday, February 25th, from
7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The meeting is open to the public.
The all-volunteer Board is the liaison between city agencies and the residents of Borough Park, most of Kensington, and parts of Sunset Park and Midwood.
Board members are appointed by the neighborhood's city
councilmembers and the borough president.
The
full board normally meets on the fourth Tuesday of the
month from September through June, in person and on Zoom.

The shelter, to be called Tenth Avenue Manor, would be operated by Midway Living (https://midwayliving.org/). The units will accommodate 100 adults and 200 children. It currently operates five family shelters in Brooklyn, Queens, and Manhattan.
