50th Annual Brooklyn St. Patrick's Parade

9/11 Rededication Ceremony: 1:00 p.m.
Parade: 1:30 p.m.
After-party: 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Marchers in the 50th Annual Brooklyn St. Patrick's Parade will assemble at Bartel-Pritchard Square on Sunday, March 16th, at 1:00 p.m. for the 9/11 Rededication Ceremony. The parade will step off at 1:30 p.m.
The day's festivities will include music, bagpipers, marching bands, Irish dancers, antique cars, and much more.
Mass will be held before the parade at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Name of Jesus Roman Catholic Church, 245 Prospect Park West, between Prospect Avenue and Windsor Place.
An after-party will be held in Shepherd's Hall in Holy Name Church from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. The meal will include a corned beef and cabbage dinner, beer, wine, soda, and Irish soda bread. Entry costs $50. If you have any questions about the after-party, contact Pat Heaney at (347) 622-2575.
The parade will start at Bartel-Pritchard Square, located in Windsor Terrace at the intersection of Prospect Park West, 15th Street, and Prospect Park Southwest. It will march down 15th Street, turn right onto 7th Avenue, march to Garfield Place and turn right, march up to Prospect Park West and turn right, and return to Bartel-Pritchard Square.
The Brooklyn St. Patrick's Parade is the oldest one in the borough, having been held annually
since 1976, although it did not take place in 2020 or 2021, due to the
COVID-19 pandemic,
