GREENMARKET AT BARTEL-PRITCHARD SQUARE WILL BE OPEN ON SUNDAYS, STARTING IN MAY

Greenmarket Windsor Terrace Brooklyn New York

The greenmarket at Bartel-Pritchard Square will be open from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Sundays, from May 5th through December 22nd. The Sunday hours are in addition to the year-round Wednesday hours from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Among the items sold will be fresh, locally-grown fruits and vegetables, beef, pork, chicken, wild-caught fish and shellfish, eggs, herbs, breads, pastries, jams, flowers, and plant starts.

Farmers attending will include
  • Baker's Bounty Breads and pastries from Union County, N.J.,
  • F & G Family Farm Vegetables from Orange County, N.Y.,
  • Grape Hollow Farm Fruits, vegetables, chicken, jams, and flowers from Dutchess County, N.Y.,
  • Haywoods Fresh Beef, pork, chicken, and eggs from Columbia County, N.Y.,
  • Nolasco’s Farm Vegetables, Mexican specialty produce, and herbs from Warren County, N.J., and
  • Williams Fruit Farm Orchard fruit from Ulster County, NY.

Free cooking demonstrations, raffles, and family-friendly activities will be featured throughout the season.

Pay for your purchases with cash, SNAP/EBT, debit cards, credit cards, WIC, Senior FMNP coupons, and Health Bucks. For every $5 that SNAP/EBT users spend, they get a $2 bonus--a Health Buck coupon--to purchase additional fresh fruits and vegetables.

Food scrap and clothing are no longer collected at this greenmarket.
