 Earth Day Celebration at Prospect Farm
Saturday, April 27th, 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Prospect Farm invites the community to join its annual Earth Day party.

Activities for all ages will include spring planting projects, a scavenger hunt, a lesson in composting, music and sing-alongs, a tour of the farm, and crafts, plants, and books for sale.

Although the event is free, donations will be welcomed.

Prospect Farm is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Contributions are tax-deductible. 

Since March 2010, Prospect Farm has been a community project development toward producing healthy local food as an alternative to industrial food. Its objective is diversity in food production and membership. It is slowly creating healthy soil through its community composting project and farm without chemical fertilizers, pesticides or herbicides. 

Prospect Farm is a community association with membership open to all. Members improve and farm the land and sustain ties with local residents, businesses, and organizations. It supports the Brooklyn Food Coalition and other initiatives for food sovereignty and food justice.
