The Singing Winds will present "The Lions and Dragons Dance – A
Children’s Celebration of the Lunar New Year" on Friday, February 8th. 2019 is the Year of the Pig.
Celebrate the Lunar New Year with Lion
Dance, Fan Dance, Kung Fu, music, and stories from China. With a special
presentation by the Wan Chi Ming Hung Gar Institute, "The Lions and
Dragons Dance" will introduce you to some of the legends and traditional
customs associated with this ancient celebration.
This free event is recommended for all ages. The audience is invited to wear red to celebrate.
Doors will be opened at 6:00 p.m. for food, crafts, and activities. "The Lions and Dragons Dance" will start at 7:00 p.m.
