KENSINGTON'S RECORDING STUDIO: SYSTEMS TWO

Two informative articles about Kensington's recording studio, Systems Two, have been posted on Sonic Scoop: NYC Studio Tour: South Brooklyn and Rich Lamb --- Nomad Engineer: The Favorite Studios of an NY Freelancer (Part I).

Founder and engineer Joe Marciano started Systems Two thirty-seven years ago. Writer Justin Colletti describes the studio as "arguably, one of the hottest spots for jazz recording in the United States" and adds that it's also recorded "pop, rock, classical and world artists for a variety of labels."

Rich Lamb writes "I love these people and I love this place — I open up a mic and it always sounds good."

The list of equipment that they got from other places and musicians is quite impressive!
