DOESN'T ANYONE KNOW WHERE KENSINGTON IS?

It's a case of mistaken boundaries again--this time in The New York Times. So, we wrote this letter:
To the Editor:

In the article "Living In - Borough Park, Brooklyn," Gregory Beyer describes the boundaries of Borough Park as "Bounded by Fort Hamilton Parkway to the west, 60th Street to the south, McDonald Avenue and Bay Parkway to the east, and McDonald Avenue to the north."

However, the New York City Department of Housing Preservation & Development defines Kensington's boundaries as "Green-Wood cemetery and Caton Avenue to the north; Prospect Park, the Parade grounds and Kensington stables to the northeast; Coney Island Avenue to the east; Foster Avenue and 47th Street to the south; and Dahill Road and 36th Street to the west."

The description and the map accompanying Mr. Beyer's article, therefore, incorrectly place a portion of Kensington in Borough Park.
