ELECTRIC VEHICLE CHARGING STATIONS PROPOSED FOR COMMUNITY DISTRICT 7

The Department of Transportation (DOT) has proposed an expansion of electric vehicle charging stations within the boundaries of Community District 7.

DOT's proposal would expand the existing charging station at 5th Avenue and 43rd Street (484 43rd Street) and add stations at 3rd Avenue and 65th Street.

Community Board 7 welcomes additional suggestions from constituents for potential locations of electric vehicle charging stations within the District, which includes Windsor Terrace, South Slope, Greenwood Heights, and Sunset Park.

The Board will compile the data to share with the Department of Transportation (DOT) later this year. E-mail your suggestions to the Board at bk07@cb.nyc.gov.
