FREE LIVE MUSIC IN KENSINGTON PLAZA

Music in the Plaza
Sunday, October 13th, 3:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

This Sunday's free live music performance in Kensington Plaza will be the second presentation in the Music in the Plaza series.

Latin, Flamenco, and classical guitarist Tomas Rodriguez will be accompanied by Grammy-nominated percussionist Urbano Sanchez. They'll play music from Spain, Brazil, Venezuela, Cuba, West Africa, and more.

From Tomas' website:
Through his original compositions and interpretations of other works, Mr. Rodriguez seeks to define a new sound for the Spanish guitar that includes explorations of African rhythms as well as lesser-known pieces in Latin American and Spanish guitar repertoire.

Kick back for a while on one of the plaza's benches on a cool, crisp autumn day or breathe in the music filling the plaza as you're passing through. Tomas and Urbano will be there from 3:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Location
Kensington Plaza
114 Beverley Road (in front of Walgreens)
between McDonald Avenue and E. 2nd Street)
