Join Flutura Effect, Kensington's youth-led climate action team, for its next cleanup at Kensington Plaza on Sunday, March 16th, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

 

Supplies and snacks will be provided.

Flutura Effect meets on Tuesdays (except on holidays and when public schools are closed) from 5:45 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in P.S. 179 at 202 Avenue C, between E. 2nd and E. 3rd streets.

 

"Flutura" means “butterfly” in Albanian.

Climate Activists! We are forming a new team in Kensington, Brooklyn to develop campaigns, activations and collaborative events both locally and globally.

Join Flutura Effect’s first event: a neighborhood cleanup at Kensington Plaza on Sunday, December 8th from 1 - 3 pm!

We’ll provide all supplies needed + snacks, so just bring yourself
