GREAT GOOGAMOOGA RETURNS TO PROSPECT PARK IN MAY


Great GoogaMooga is back! Launching Friday, May 17th, with a kickoff concert, Great GoogaMooga will transform Prospect Park into an amusement park of food, drink and music all weekend long.  Eat and drink your heart out; there will be 85 top New York restaurants, 75 brews and 100 wines.

 Want to add a little salt to the rim of your day at Great GoogaMooga? We recommend the VIP Cocktail Experience,  It includes Main Stage Viewing, Cocktail Bars and Seminars and a VIP-Only Entrance Lane. Tickets are available this Thursday, get all the info here.

FREE WEEKEND TICKETS FOR THE GREAT GOOGA MOOGA

TICKETING UPDATE:  Free general admission tickets for Saturday & Sunday will be up for grabs on Tuesday, April 24th (tomorrow) at Noon ET on a first come, first-served basis.  Registration is for either Saturday or Sunday with a two ticket limit per order. We anticipate quite the rush on Tuesday so be patient, have a sandwich and get excited!

PROSPECT PARK MUSIC AND FOOD FESTIVAL: FREE TICKETS AVAILABLE NEXT WEEK


General Admission tickets to The Great Googa Mooga music, food, and drink festival are free. They'll be given away online from noon on Thursday, March 15th, through midnight on Sunday, March 31st--or until the Early Registration tickets run out. You can register for either Saturday, May 19th, or Sunday, May 20th, but not for both days. One ticket admits you and three other people.

music: The not-yet-announced musical acts will include national and local artists performing in various genres. Ten acts per day will appear on each of the two stages in the Nethermead Meadow. 

food: Browse the linked list of some of the 75 food vendors.

wine tasting and beer tasting: The Wine Tasting Pavilion will feature over 100 wines from around the world. The beer-tasting Pavilion will present  over 30 different domestic and foreign craft beer makers.

Food and drink are on the pay-as-you-go system.

Or, for $249.50 per person per day, you can participate in Extra Mooga, "a festival-within-a-festival, an all-inclusive food-and-drink-lover’s experience set in a beautiful wooded area of Prospect Park."

The creators of the Bonnaroo festival will present The Great Googa Mooga: An Amusement Park of Food and Drink, a free two-day festival in Prospect Park featuring more than a dozen bands, sixty-five food vendors (local chefs, restaurateurs, and purveyors), thirty-five beer brewers, and twenty-five winemakers from New York.
