Free Mammogram
Monday, May 16th, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Every women who is age forty or older is eligible for a free mammogram at the McDonald Avenue office of Dr. Lotus Ahmed on Monday, May 16th, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Women of Bangladeshi Heritage, in collaboration with Fidelis Care and in partnership with New York City District 39 Councilmember Shahana Hanif, will host this event. In addition to the free mammogram, informational sessions on women's health will be offered.
Call (347) 738-1758 to make a reservation. You don't need to have health insurance to get the mammogram.
Volunteers are needed on the day of the event to help with a variety of tasks. Call the phone number above if you can help.
Dr. Ahmed is a physician advisor at Coney Island Hospital and a primary care physician.
