Compost Giveback
Saturday, April 9th, and Sunday, April 10th, 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Free bags of compost will be given away at Newkirk Community Garden on Saturday, April 9th, and Sunday, April 10th, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
First come, first served. Each person can take one or two bags. The bags weigh forty pounds apiece.
Masking up is required in the garden because of the continuing COVID-19 pandemic.
The garden, a project of Pakistani American Youth Society, was established in 2019. Its space is the former location of Compost for Brooklyn.
