Community Board 7 Public Safety Committee Meeting
Wednesday, November 10th, 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
The
Windsor Terrace and Sunset Park communities' crime and safety concerns
will be discussed at a virtual public meeting between the Community Board 7 Public Safety
Committee, Captain Chen from the 72nd Precinct, the precinct's Community Affairs officers, the Brooklyn District Attorney's office, and the public.
The meeting will be held on Wednesday, November 10th, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
All board meetings and committee meetings are open to the public.
The public is permitted to speak at meetings. When the Committee Chair opens up the meeting for questions,
use the "Raise Your Hand" function to
raise your hand and then wait to be called on to ask a question. You'll have three
minutes to speak. Members of the community board will be called on first.
Agenda
- Discussion on the use of bicycles, motorized bikes and scooters in bike lanes and on sidewalks
- Parking and double parking on 5th Avenue
- Cars parking on sidewalk on 50th to 60th between 2 and 3rd Avenues
- Abandoned vehicles on 3rd Avenue/62nd and 64th streets

Crimes occurring in the neighborhood: Shooting on 46th Street, gang activity in the neighborhood, public
urination, stolen packages, and loitering - Presentation from the Brooklyn District Attorney's Office on crime prevention and protection for seniors (Tentative)
