The leaf collection date has been changed to December 11th.
Raked-up
leaves will be picked up curbside in Brooklyn community boards 7 and 12 (as well
as in 1, 2, 5, 6, and 7 and 9 through 18). The Department of Sanitation will turn the leaves into compost.
Leaf set-out guidelines:
- Collect the leaves in paper lawn & leaf bags or in unlined rigid containers.
- Set the leaves out for collection at the curb after 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 11th.
- Don't put any leaves, grass, branches, and yard clippings generated by hired professionals out for curbside collection. They have to be disposed of by the hired professionals themselves.
