Join astronomers Joe Delfausse and Faissal aka Md. Halim from the Amateur Astronomers Association of New York City at Avenue C Plaza for a free guided tour of the stars, the planets, and the moon. They'll bring their high-powered telescopes to the event this Thursday, August 8th, when it gets dark outside, and again on September 5th.
This is the second year they'll be visiting our neighborhood. At other times, they're busy showing off the heavens at the High Line, Lincoln Center, Carl Schurz Park, Grand Army Plaza, and other fabled New York City green spaces.
The event will be hosted by The Kensington Stewards, managers of Avenue C Plaza and Kensington Plaza.
