Community Board 7 Monthly Public Meeting
Wednesday, November 14th, 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
The regular monthly board meeting of Community Board 7, which represents Windsor Terrace and Sunset Park, will be held on
Wednesday, November 14th, from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
The board's monthly meetings are open to the public.
Every neighborhood in New York City is represented by an all-volunteer community board. They serve as each neighborhood's liaison to city agencies. Board members are appointed by the neighborhood's city councilperson and the borough president.
At the Community Board 7 meeting, members of the public are invited to comment on any issue during the two Public Comment periods (items 5 and 12 on the agenda).

3. Adoption of the agenda
4. Adoption of the Minutes of the Board Meeting of October 17, 2018

A) Personnel/Internal Budget Committee
1) Goal of the Committee
2) Personnel: What do we know and what do we need to know
3) Identifying criteria and process for the committee spending proposals
4) Exploring tools and developing criteria for a performance review
B) Ability and Access Committee
1) Improving hearing access at CB7 meetings
2) Disability Awareness meetings with local BIDs
3) Bus stop benches project
4) Areas of collaboration with other CB7 committees
5) Next steps for committee outreach to the community
C) Ad Hoc Committee on Homelessness Issues
1) Discussion with the Department of Homeless Services about how the homeless in the community are served and how to contact the agency managers in charge
2) Arrange for a committee member to attend upcoming DHS community advisory meetings and discuss strategies for setting up CAC’s where there are none
3) Establish an action plan for creating liaisons between our committee and shelter management
