NEIGHBORHOOD POLICING MEETING FOR 72ND PRECINCT SECTOR A (WINDSOR TERRACE, GREENWOOD HEIGHTS, AND SOUTH SLOPE) RESIDENTS AND BUSINESS OWNERS

Build a Block Meeting, Sector A, 72nd Precinct
Thursday, September 27th, 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Residents and business owners in Windsor Terrace, Greenwood Heights, and South Slope are invited to a "Build a Block" neighborhood safety meeting with their police precinct's Neighborhood Coordination Officers (NCOs).

Join Detective Daniel McGrath and Police Officer Francis Ghanney, whose beat is Sector A of the 72nd Precinct, as they update the community about neighborhood safety and crime on Thursday, September 27th, at 6:30 p.m.

Tell the officers your concerns and complaints, ask questions, and offer suggestions.

The doors will open at 6:00 p.m. for refreshments.

In April 2016, the NYPD divided the 72nd Precinct into four sectors as part of a new policing model--known as "community policing"--to connect police and communities. Until that time, the precinct had been comprised of eight sectors. As a result of the change, additional officers were assigned to the precinct.
