FREE PAPER SHREDDING IN KENSINGTON

Free Paper Shredding
Saturday September 22nd, 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Protect yourself from thieves who want to steal your identity. Get your confidential and sensitive paper documents shredded for free at an AARP Operation Stop Scams event.

Shred financial and legal documents, such as IDs, bank statements, deposit slips, checks, credit card statements and receipts as well as documents bearing account numbers, birth dates, passwords, PINs, signatures, Social Security numbers, driver's license numbers and any other items that include names, addresses, phone numbers, and e-mail addresses.

Bring up to three grocery bags of documents to be shredded. Metal, plastic, and other materials can damage the shredder, so they won't be accepted. The shredding truck will stay on site for the time scheduled or until it reaches capacity.

For additional information, call (866) 227-7451 or go to www.aarp.org/nyc.
