FREE COMPOST WORKSHOP


                                     Compost Workshop
                      Saturday, June 16th, 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Learn how to turn your food scraps into “black gold,” a rich soil amendment beneficial for plants and soil. The workshop will cover composting basics and best practices, using the three-bin system at the East 4th Street Community Garden. Learn how to troubleshoot problems. Bring your fruit and vegetable scraps for a hands-on experience.

The workshop will be taught by a Brooklyn Botanical Garden Master Composter In Training, Liz Royzman, Saturday, June 16th, from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. It is free, and it is open to the public.
