IMMIGRATION WORKSHOP WILL TELL PEOPLE THEIR RIGHTS



 Immigration Workshop
Thursday, October 5th, 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

All New York City residents, including undocumented immigrants, can access most of the city's services. They can attend school, use the healthcare system, and more.

City employees will not ask them about their immigration status, unless it is necessary to ask them so that the employees can do their jobs.  City employees must keep everyone's immigration status information confidential. 

The NYC Mayor's Office of Immigrant Affairs will provide a presentation in the Kensington Library about the resources that are available for immigrants who live in New York City.
