                      Tuesday, March 7th, 5:20 p.m. to 6:20 p.m.

To kick off its new aikido program for ages 7 to 12, Brooklyn Aikido Center is offering an opportunity for youth and their parents or guardians to learn more about aikido and about the Brooklyn Aikido Center dojo and program.

On Tuesday, March 7th, from 5:20 p.m. to 6:20 p.m., the center will offer a trial/demo class for ages 7-12 at a cost of $10 per child.

Following the introduction to aikido and the Brooklyn Aikido Center program, the children will participate in a shortened class experience that consists of warmups, basic falls, and a technique or two. The class will conclude with a brief adult demonstration.

Details about the event and registration are at https://brooklynaikidocenter.com/news/youth-program-demo-class.

The Brooklyn Aikido Center Youth Program
Aikido is a non-competitive martial art. Youth practice dealing with conflict with compassion, awareness, and cooperation. We practice getting out of the way of an attack and utilizing its energy to lead to a more compassionate result for all involved. Youth learn how not to fight. Our programs offer serious instruction in the art of Aikido delivered in a vibrant and joyful manner.
