UPDATE: The Windsor Terrace Library didn't reopen on Monday, April 10th, because the weather prevented work from proceeding at the predicted pace. It will reopen within the next few weeks.

Monday, March 13th, through Sunday, April 9th
From Monday, March 13, 2017, through Sunday, April 9th, the Windsor Terrace Library will be closed to install a "green" roof. The library will reopen on Monday, April 10th, at 10:00 a.m., its regularly scheduled time.
Bookmobile service will be provided near the Windsor Terrace Library on Wednesdays and Fridays from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. beginning on Wednesday, March 15th.
The green roof will reduce energy use, limit stormwater run-off, improve air quality, add wildlife habitat, and beautify. Residents of City Councilmember Brad Lander's district approved funding it during the 2014 participatory budgeting process.
