Unity Night II
Thursday, February 16th, 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
These are difficult and frightening times for some of our neighbors. Community members from various backgrounds would like to help them.
In that vein, the free event "Unity Night II" will take place at Ditmas Junior High School (I.S. 62) tomorrow night from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
The focus will be on efforts to protect and unite our diverse community, "Know your Rights" workshops, and children's and adults' welfare in stressful times.
Neighborhood organizations, immigrant and civil rights organizations, and community leaders will be in attendance.
Information/resource tables will be set up.
Translation into Bengali, Urdu, Spanish, Nepali, Russian, and Arabic will be available.
Childcare will be offered.
Light refreshments will be served.
