BEGINNERS TAPESTRY WEAVING CLASS ON PROSPECT PARK WEST

Beginners Weaving Class
Sunday, September 11th, 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Weaving instructor Jessi Highet, who studied at Parsons School of Design, will teach students how to make tapestry weavings from beginning to end.

Learn the basics of tapestry weaving in this beginners class. Learn basic vocabulary, how to dress the loom, three to four weaving patterns, and how to finish the weaving so it's suitable for display.

No previous weaving experience is necessary to take this class.

The fee for the three-hour class is $130.
Supplies that are used for sample-making and learning the technique are included in the class fee.

In addition, students will take home all of the supplies they'll need to continue weaving on their own: an Ashford frame loom, a wooden shuttle, and three balls of yarn.

The class is limited to six students. To reserve a spot in the class, you have to pay in advance, either in person in the store, online on the web store, or by phone at (347) 227-7799, using a credit card.

To get a full refund, cancel up to one week in advance.  Cancel up to forty-eight hours in advance to get a store credit. Cancellations made within forty-eight hours of the class will forfeit payment.
