Learn how to start vigorous new houseplants expertly from cuttings.

Start or increase your plant collection without spending any money!

In this interactive workshop at the Windsor Terrace Library, led by Susan Braverman, participants will learn to

  • make cuttings using various methods,
  • root cuttings in water/soil, and
  • care for their plants.

Participants will take home three potted plants and a how-to guide on cutting propagation. Supplies for the class will be provided.

Adults and families are welcome to attend.

Susan Braverman is a Horticultural Therapist Master and founder of Urban Oasis, a rehab program that includes an inner city farm, two greenhouses and a farmers market. In a partnership between the nonprofit GreenWorks Team and Brooklyn Public Library she has worked with neighborhood residents and people with disabilities on community gardening projects.
